After a pleasant arrival at Dar es salaam International Airport, you will be welcomed by one of Lodo Safaris representative, who will initially meet and greet you. After a short brief of himself, he or she will transfer you to your dedicated stay in within Dar es Salaam city depending on your arrival time. After an early breakfast, you will take direction to Selous Game Reserve for game viewing and photographing. The Selous Game Reserve is one of the largest faunal reserves of the world, located in the south of Tanzania. It was named after Englishman Sir Frederick Selous, a famous big game hunter and early conservationist, who died at Beho Beho in this territory in 1917 while fighting against the Germans during World War I. arriving to your dedicated stay for lunch followed by an evening game drive to have your first impression on game viewing safari. After an early breakfast at the Camp, departs to the park for boating Safari to enjoy the time with Hippopotamus and the Nile crocodiles in the Rufiji River. In the afternoon you will drive back to the Camp for Lunch, followed by an evening Game Drive. Overnight at Africa Safari Camp.
Today your day is starting with a cup of coffee or tea early in the morning, then departs to the park for a walking safari accompanied by an armed ranger for about two hours. After a two hours walk, you will go back to the Camp for breakfast and taking shower. Then you will collect your bags and take direction to Mikumi National Park with your packed lunch, for game viewing and photographing. The park covers a total area of 3230 kilometers square hence is the fifth largest National park in the country, going up through the Uluguru Mountains and meets the locals, cultural activities and lifestyle. Uluguru Mountains are a mountain range in eastern Tanzania, named after the Luguru tribe. The main portion of the Uluguru Mountains is a ridge running roughly north-south and rising to 2,630 meters altitude at its highest point and later go down to Mikumi. On arrival, you will have a game drive in the afternoon. Overnight at Mikumi Wildlife Camp.
After an early breakfast you will realize a morning game drive in the park to enjoy the last moments of the park, remember in this fascinating destination you will see; lions, giraffes, buffaloes, leopards , antelopes and much more including it beautiful landscapes. In the afternoon after lunch at the Camp you will drive back to Dar es Salaam city for your ongoing schedule. Overnight at Slipway Hotel.
Today is a sad day, after a delicious breakfast , you will realize a Cultural City Tour to take memories of this coastal city depending on your flight time, in the evening Lodo Safaris representative will transfer you to Dar es Salaam International Airport for your flight back home.
