11 Days Cultural Discovery

After a pleasant arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, or any other border posts of the country, you will be welcomed by one of the Lodo Safaris representative who will initially meet and greet you. After a short introduction of himself, he will transfer you to your dedicated hotel within Arusha City for your night stay. Overnight at Outpost Lodge on Half board basis.

After morning breakfast departs for Lake Manyara National Park for Game Viewing and Photographing with the picnic lunch. Stretching for 50km along the base of the rusty-gold 600-metre high Rift Valley Escarpment, Lake Manyara is a scenic gem, with a setting extolled by Ernest Hemingway as “the loveliest I had seen in Africa”. The Park host larger herds of elephants, buffalos, zebras and over 300 different species of birds. Overnight at Migunga Tented Lodge.

After a gracious breakfast, you will take direction to Lake Natron, one the rift valley lakes in east Africa. This beautiful lake found at the foot of Oldonyo Le Ngai mountain (in Maa “Moutain of God”), one of the volcanic active mountains in the world, found in Tanzania. This beautiful is home and breeding site for Flamingoes in east Africa. On arrival after lunch, you will realize an afternoon hiking to beautiful water falls in the area. Overnight at Lake Natron Tented Camp.

After morning breakfast, you will realize a morning walking safari at Lake Natron, to discover beautifulness of the Lake and its surroundings. After lunch you will have a visit to a Maasai Village to share experience with them. This is another opportunity to learn the primitive life style of Maasai tribe. Overnight at Lake Natron Tented Camp.

NOTE: This night there is a possibility to climb the mountain at midnight and descend in the morning, after confirming to the local Maasai guide by a direct pay from the client.

After morning breakfast at the lodge, you will take direction with your packed lunch to Serengeti National Park for afternoon game viewing and photographing. The oldest and most popular National Park, a World Heritage Site recently proclaimed as 7th world wonder of the World, Serengeti is famed for its Annual Wildebeests Migration and uncountable number of predators. Dinner and overnight at Serengeti Kati Kati Camp on full board basis.

Today you have an early game drive to enjoy the last moments in Serengeti such as a beautiful sunrise, before you come back to the Camp for breakfast. After breakfast, you will load your bags on your car and leave the Camp towards Ngorongoro Conservation Area Authority via Olduvai Gorge, game enroute until you arrive to your dedicated stay in Ngorongoro. Overnight at Ngorongoro Rhino Lodge on full board basis.

After early breakfast at the Lodge, departs early for Ngorongoro crater tour, descending to the crater floor for game drive and photographing with your packed lunch. The largest collapsed unbroken caldera in the world with high concentration of big game wildlife. Ngorongoro is a special place which is a Conservation Area, not a National Park; this means that the whole area is managed for both the animals and the local Maasai people who graze their cattle alongside the indigenous wildlife. Proceed with your game drive in this so called “Man and Biosphere Reserve”. In the evening, around 16:00 you will ascend towards your dedicated stay out of Ngorongoro. Dinner and Overnight at Ngorongoro Farmhouse on full board basis.

Today you will wake up early in the morning and pack your bags ready to go hunting with the bush men (Hadzabe tribe). With your packed breakfast, you will take direction to Lake Eyasi for Cultural Activities. The tour will give you an opportunity to experience the primitive life style living the tribes along the Lake Eyasi. You will also realize a visit to the Datoga tribe “the blacksmith), having a walk along the Lake Eyasi and later to the Onion fields. In the evening you will take direction to your dedicated stay in Karatu. Overnight at Bougainvillea Safari Lodge on full board basis.

After breakfast, departs with your packed lunch towards Tarangire National Park for game viewing and photographing. The park is famous for its massive baobab trees, Home of the African elephants (with high concentration than any other park) and tree climbing pythons, Tarangire National Park is small but still home to a significant wildlife population, with a density of wildlife matched only by Ngorongoro. In the evening around 16:00 you will drive back to Arusha for your ongoing schedule. Overnight at Mvuli Hotel.

Breakfast at the hotel, with the packed lunch shall have a road transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your flight back home as per your schedule.
