Itinerary

DAY 1 ARRIVAL AND CHECK IN

After a pleasant arrival at Zanzibar Airport or port ferry , you will be welcomed by one of Lodo Safaris representative who will initially meet and greet you. After a short introduction of himself, he will transfer you to your dedicated hotel for check in. Aya Beach Resort

Day 2 SPICE FARM TOUR AND STONE TOWN TOUR (6hrs-8hrs)

Our driver guide will pick you up from the hotel 10:00 am where our driver guide will pick you up for a guided stone town tour, in the walking tour you will visit Fredy mercury museum, slave market, Darajani market and the old fort. Later transfer to Kizimbani for a spice farm tour, there you will learn, smell and taste a variety of local and Arabic spices and enjoy Lunch with traditional swahili cuisines with mouth watering tropical fruits at the farm. Overnight at Aya Beach Resort or similar.

Day 3JOZANI FOREST, CUZA CAVES AND PAJE BEACH (9hrs- 10hrs)

Tour starts at 10:00am where our driver will pick you up from the hotel and depart for a visit to Jozani forest explore the forest and get a chance to see the rare red colobus monkeys, Visit the Cuza caves and swim in the cave while enjoying a traditional performance, thereafter relaxing at Paje beach. After the tour our driver will drive you back to hotel. Overnight at Aya Beach Resort or similar.

Day 4TOUR PRISON ISLAND AND NAKUPENDA ISLAND (8hrs-10hrs)

Tour starts at 09:00am where our driver guide will pick you and drive to stone town, get on a boat ready for a tour to turtle sanctuary in Changu Island and a special sea food lunch by chef in Nakupenda Island. Tranfer back to hotel. After the tour our driver will transfer you back to the hotel Overnight at Aya Beach Resort or similar.

DAY 5 A DAY AT MNEMBA ATOLL AND TURTLE AQUARIUM (8hrs-9hrs)

Pick up from the hotel at 09:00am and depart for a half day boat cruise and dolphin tour at Mnemba Island. Enjoy swimming with the dolphins and snorkeling at Mnemba Island. Special seafood barbecue at the beach there after transfer to the Baraka turtle aquarium,enjoy swimming and feeding the turtles in a relaxed atmosphere. After the tour our driver will transfer you back to your hotel. Overnight at Aya Beach Resort or similar.

DAY 6FULL DAY SAFARI BLUE (5hrs-6hrs)

Tour starts at 08:30am where our driver will pick you up from the hotel and transfer for a full day Safari Blue. Enjoy unveiling the hidden germ of Zanzibar, swimming in the shallow lagoons and explore the sea corals through snorkeling. After the tour you will have special seafood barbecue at the beach. After the tour our driver will drive you back to the hotel.

Day 7 QUAD TOUR (2hrs-3hrs).

Pick up and transfer to Pwani Mchangani for a guided Quad tour on a four wheeled motorbikes, drive around the streets and enjoy both the thrill and a closer look to the Zanzibar way of life . Afterwards enjoy lunch at our favourate local restaurant andyour driver will drive you back to the hotel

Day 8FREE DAY

Enjoy quality time at the resort. Soak in the sun, relax by the pool and enjoy the beach rigth at the foot of your resort. Overnight at Aya Beach Resort or similar.

Day 9SUNSET CRUSING

At 1600hrs you will join a group tour on a dhow for sunset cruising snacks, seafoods & beverage will be included. In the evening transfer to your hotel for overnight.

Day 10THE ROCK RESTAURANT AND SUNSET AT KAEFUNK

Easy day at the resort, in the afternoon a driver will pick you up for transfer to the Rock restaurant with you reservation prebooked according to availability, a wonderful spot for pictures on the restaurant literary built on a rock in the ocean. Later transfer to Kae Funk sunset beach bar for enjoy sunset views. In the evening transfer back to your resort for overnight.

Day 11FREE DAY

Enjoy quality time at the resort. Soak in the sun, relax by the pool and enjoy the beach rigth at the foot of your resort. Overnight at Aya Beach Resort or similar.

Day 12CHECK OUT AND DEPARTURE.

After breakfast and check out, according to your flight plan our driver will pick you up and transfer to Zanzibar International Airport for your flight back home.
