After a pleasant arrival at Dar es salaam International Airport, you will be welcomed by one of Lodo Safaris representative, who will initially meet and greet you. After a short brief of himself, he or she will transfer you to your dedicated stay in within Dar es Salaam city depending on your arrival time. After an early breakfast, you will take direction to Selous Game Reserve for game viewing and photographing. The Selous Game Reserve is one of the largest faunal reserves of the world, located in the south of Tanzania. It was named after Englishman Sir Frederick Selous, a famous big game hunter and early conservationist, who died at Beho Beho in this territory in 1917 while fighting against the Germans during World War I. arriving to your dedicated stay for lunch followed by an evening game drive to have your first impression on game viewing safari. After an early breakfast, you will leave the lodge towards the park with you picnic lunch boxes for full day game drive to discover the beauty of Selous game reserve, including beautiful lakes, landscapes along the Rufiji River, elephants, Lions, Leopards and wild dogs among other endangered species. After an early breakfast at the Camp, departs to the park for boating Safari to enjoy the time with Hippopotamus and the Nile crocodiles in the Rufiji River. In the afternoon you will drive back to the Camp for Lunch, followed by an evening Game Drive. Overnight at Africa Safari Camp.
Today your day is starting with a cup of coffee or tea early in the morning, then departs to the park for a walking safari accompanied by an armed ranger for about two hours. After a two hours walk, you will go back to the Camp for breakfast and taking shower. Then you will collect your bags and take direction to Mikumi National Park with your packed lunch, for game viewing and photographing. The park covers a total area of 3230 kilometers square hence is the fifth largest National park in the country, going up through the Uluguru Mountains and meets the locals, cultural activities and lifestyle. Uluguru Mountains are a mountain range in eastern Tanzania, named after the Luguru tribe. The main portion of the Uluguru Mountains is a ridge running roughly north-south and rising to 2,630 meters altitude at its highest point and later go down to Mikumi. On arrival, you will have a game drive in the afternoon. Overnight at Mikumi Wildlife Camp.
After an early breakfast you will realize a morning game drive in the park to enjoy the last moments of the park, remember in this fascinating destination you will see; lions, giraffes, buffaloes, leopards , antelopes and much more including it beautiful landscapes. In the afternoon after lunch at the Camp you will drive back to Dar es Salaam city for your ongoing schedule. Overnight at Slipway Hotel.
After a delicious breakfast, you will realize a Cultural City Tour to take memories of this coastal city depending on your flight time to Zanzibar. In the afternoon your Lodo Safaris representative will accompany to Dar es Salaam Airport for your regular flight to Zanzibar. After breakfast from hotel at 9:00 am you will be collected from your hotel by our guide for Prison Island Tour, Visit Lloyd Mathew’s Architecture built in 1893 and the Island is a home of Aldabra Giant Tortoises and visit the historical site that was meant to be a prison building. After a visit to prison island you will enjoy snorkeling with snorkeling gears then head to Nakupenda island for sea food lunch with fresh fruits and drinks under the light tent on the whitest sand bank At 3:40 you get a boat ride to stone town and drive Aya Beach Resort.
After breakfast pick up and depart for a visit to Jozani forest, Cuza caves thereafter lunch and relaxing at Jambiani beach. After transfer for overnight at Aya Beach Resort
Today is a farewells day and your last day in Zanzibar, but still you can enjoy last moments as much as possible after breakfast, whereby you the Hotel representatives will take you to Zanzibar Airport for your regular flight to Dar es Salaam, where you will connect your flight back home.
