After a pleasant arrival at Dar es salaam International Airport, you will be welcomed by one of Lodo Safaris representative, who will initially meet and greet you. After a short brief of himself, he or she will transfer you to your dedicated stay in within Dar es Salaam city depending on your arrival time. After an early breakfast, you will take direction to Selous Game Reserve for game viewing and photographing. The Selous Game Reserve is one of the largest faunal reserves of the world, located in the south of Tanzania. It was named after Englishman Sir Frederick Selous, a famous big game hunter and early conservationist, who died at Beho Beho in this territory in 1917 while fighting against the Germans during World War I. arriving to your dedicated stay for lunch followed by an evening game drive to have your first impression on game viewing safari. After an early breakfast, you will leave the lodge towards the park with you picnic lunch boxes for full day game drive to discover the beauty of Selous game reserve, including beautiful lakes, landscapes along the Rufiji River, elephants, Lions, Leopards and wild dogs among other endangered species. After an early breakfast at the Camp, departs to the park for boating Safari to enjoy the time with Hippopotamus and the Nile crocodiles in the Rufiji River. In the afternoon you will drive back to the Camp for Lunch, followed by an evening Game Drive. Overnight at Africa Safari Camp.
Today your day is starting with a cup of coffee or tea early in the morning, then departs to the park for a walking safari accompanied by an armed ranger for about two hours. After a two hours walk, you will go back to the Camp for breakfast and taking shower. Then you will collect your bags and take direction to Morogoro town with your packed lunch, for overnight. The park covers a total area of 3230 kilometers square hence is the fifth largest National park in the country, going up through the Uluguru Mountains and meets the locals, cultural activities and lifestyle. Uluguru Mountains are a mountain range in eastern Tanzania, named after the Luguru tribe. The main portion of the Uluguru Mountains is a ridge running roughly north-south and rising to 2,630 meters altitude at its highest point and later go down to Mikumi. Overnight at Nashera Hotel.
After early breakfast, departure towards Ruaha National Park for game viewing and photographing, arriving for late lunch. Ruaha National park is one of the few Tanzania’s famous wilderness area; where one can have a rare experience game viewing spiced up by the fascinating landscapes plains, light bushes swamps and the beautiful river ruaha. The park is rich in plants and animals such as Greater Kudu, which cannot be found in any other national park. The park boasts of her almost untouched and unexplained ecosystem, making visitors’ Safari experience very unique. Overnight at Ruaha Hilltop Lodge on full board basis.
After breakfast, departure towards the park with our packed lunch for game viewing and photographing. Today you are having a full day game drive to discover the rare antelopes absent in other national parks but this; including Sable antelope, Roan antelope with so many other species of animals.
